Easy to install and a perfect custom fit. 5 Genius retractable French screen door.I like the product and would buy it again. You do need to be careful with the doors, they need to be hand guided gently when opening and closing. So far out of the 4 retractable doors installed, I have one that doesn't like to retract very well. The units are very sharp, and serve the purpose perfectly. The screen handles are installed already, but not aligned, so you have to adjust all of them. Just wasn't worth the effort in my opinion. It's not a big deal for me because I don't care to have the pin, but if you're going to offer this option.It should work, right? There is a work around, where you could remove the handles and slide the pin all the way up from the other end. But the groove that the pin needs to slide in doesn't exist on one end (so far 2 for 2 with this issue). They offer an optional lock pin to install on one of the screens.
The first one took a couple hours, but that was just getting familiar and trying to understand an issue I was having. I can install one set in about 45 minutes without rushing. Installation is easy, if you measured accurately. I recommend having a small pry bar to go along with the other recommended tools. I've installed 2 and the install really isn't bad. We purchased 5 of these for double french door applications. The screen door took longer than normal, no fault of your own, with the supply chain shortages, and workforce challenges, we are experiencing across the board.
